

Alexander G. Segura III, born July 1, 1984 in Houston, Texas, left to be with our Savior on August 6, 2012 in Houston. Alex is survived by his wife, Kristin Segura; son, Xavier Segura; mother, Michele Jasso; father, Alex Segura Jr.; siblings, Adrian, Melanie, Justin, Gabriella, Samantha, Little Rhett, Christina, Kiersten, and Josh; grandparents, Roger Jasso and Jeanie Havis; great-grandparents, Eugene and Lorene Spanihel; aunts, Reyne Bishnow and Vangie Lopez, and many other relatives and numerous friends, many of them life-long.
Alex served his country proudly in Iraq as a Lance Corporal in the Marines, Echo Company, Second Battalion. He was proud to be Texas born and bred. Alex’s life was tragically taken in Houston while heroically defending a friend. He will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home where a vigil service and rosary will commence at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 East 10th Street, Houston, Texas 77008. Interment with military honors will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
