Alice was born in Houston, Texas to Eva and Pablo Cardenas on January 16, 1935. She resided in Houston where she grew up with her sister, Jovita and brother, Paul. Alice graduated from Jefferson Davis High School, class of 1953. She also took some courses at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston.
Alice worked as a youth counselor at Casa de Amigos and later had a long career with Chicago Title Company. She was actively involved at El Mesias Methodist Church, where she led adult bible studies. She also enjoyed cooking, music, and was a loving neighbor, sister, and aunt to her family.
Left to cherish Alice's memory are her sisters, Jovita and Francis; brother, Paul and wife Eva; nephews, Raphael and Joe Reyes, and Mario and Abraham Cardenas.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Eva Cardenas and brother -in-law, Raphael Reyes.
The family would like to thank Alice's dear neighbors for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
