Alta Ray Shelton

Alta married the love of her life, Harel Shelton, on October 1, 1947. They resided in the Houston area where they raised their 6 children.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Bradshaw; Mother, Bernice Lichnowsky Bradshaw; Husband, Harel Shelton; Sister, Dee Bass; and Sons, Wayne and Jack Shelton.

She is survived by her children, Dale Shelton, wife Donna; Judy Hejl, husband Donnie; Steve Shelton; and Denise Ferguson, husband Rick. As well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several other family and friends.

She was deeply loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

A visitation for Alta will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
