On January 24, 1934 a pretty little girl was born to Litt and Alma Gragg Henson in Muldoon, Fayette Co., Texas. They named her Anazora. She attended public school there and confessed to Christ at an early age. While residing in Fayette County she raised her 2 children, Anthony and Patricia in addition to assisting in the family’s business, “Henson’s Place.” She was a beautiful independent lady that never complained and always had a smile on her face. After marrying John Bateman she relocated to Houston, Texas where she was employed by Igloo for a number of years and eventually retired from Spring ISD. She is preceded in death by her husband John Bateman, her daughter Patricia Ann Henson, her parents Litt and Alma, brothers; Monroe, Ben and Norris, sisters; Frances, Alberta, Elizabeth and Lillie B. She will live forever in the hearts of her son Anthony Henson, brother Leon Henson, sister Della Jean Armstrong, grandchildren; Chris, LaShonda, John, Tiffany and Brittany as well as nineteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
