

Angelina Rodriguez Cantu; a vibrant and loving spirit, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 11, 1940, in Houston, Texas, touched many lives with her kind nature and enthusiasm for life.
Angelina retired from Sears & Roebuck with over 25 years of service. Angelina was well known for her spirited personality. She was raised in the greater East End; Magnolia Park. Angelina built her foundation and raised and raised her children in Reville Park, later to retire and enjoy life along the water of Clear Lake, Texas. During her free time, she loved baking cookies for her family, making tamales for Christmas, endless puzzles, and caring for her plants. She also enjoyed adventures, like traveling with her husband Fred, visiting her loving sister Carolina and endless memories with her best friend Molly of 75 years. Her dedication to her family was evident in all that she did. Angelina absolutely adored her grandchildren attending school activities and celebrating their achievements. Her passion in life was her large loving family.
Angelina was preceded in death by her loving husband Federico Cantu, her parents Paul and Bertha Martinez. Her brother, Victor Martinez. Her grandson, Jared Anthony Rodriguez. Angelina is survived by her children; Nei-Lani and Xavier Munoz, Royel and Linda Rodriguez, Nadine and Anthony Reyes, Velma and Rodney Keith, Charlie and Elena Cantu, Tony and Patricia Cantu. Her grandchildren, Monica Rodriguez, Kalee Capehart, Erika Munoz, Stephanie Canales, Natalie Munoz, Tyler Haag, Alyssa Loredo, Paul Rodriguez, Tony Munoz, Madeline Guerra, Sarah Cantu, Zachary Cantu, Mark and Christian Cantu. Great grandchildren; Noah Guerra, Joel and makayla Ramos, Steven, Aiden and Evan Villanueva, Ty, Lane and Cadence Capehart, Lyla, Camilla and Elena Loredo, Liliana, Isaac, Mason and Bryce Canales, Malaky and Aria. Angelina is also survived by her sister, Carolina Herbert and numerous close cousins and friends.
Angelina leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. Angelina will be missed and cherished by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on December 23, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
The Funeral Service will follow on December 23, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location.
The Committal Service is scheduled for December 23, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, also at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
