Anita June Davis Masterson, 83, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to heaven on February 15, 2014. She was born on April 2, 1930 in Houston, TX to Thelma Ann Breazeale and Roland Earl Davis. She was a devoted mother and housewife while raising her children, and then went to work at the City of Houston where she retired in 1997. Anita’s greatest attribute was her ability to love unconditionally and those that knew her loved her just the same. Anita is preceded in death by her husband Archibald Masterson, her sons Larry and Gary, and her brother Edward Davis. She leaves behind two children, Mari Ann McCaffrey and husband Walter, Dudley Masterson and wife Lynda, daughter-in-law Linda Masterson, all from Deer Park and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Anita also leaves behind her beloved companion, her dog Tiffany. The family will receive friends and family at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home for the visitation on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at the Chapel of the Angels on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:30pm. Interment will follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
