Anita G. Partida

Anita was born to Seferino Garcia and Bertha Quintana, March 26, 1942. She married Ruben A. Partida on January 4, 1964, in Houston, Texas. Together they raised four daughters.

She is survived by her daughters: Lisa and Jose Montemayor; Cynthia and David Zermeno; Sandra and Gilbert Barrera; Brenda and Christopher Tobar. She leaves to cherish her memories of grandchildren Angela and Gilbert Cortez, Laura and Jorge Gutierrez, Patricia and Modesto Sepulveda, Jennifer Zermeno, Nicholas Zermeno and Doris Leal, Ashley Zermeno and Thomas Gage, Tesla Barrera, Gilbert Barrera IV, Matthew Barrera, Xavier Saldana, Breanna Saldana and Frank Vasquez, and Steven Saldana.

Great Grandchildren: Gilbert Cortez, Ana Cortez, Julie Cortez, Francesca Cortez, Lucia Gutierrez, Leo Gutierrez, Lily Sepulveda, Jaelyn Mendoza, Dominick Mendoza, Calina Noyola, Jayden Zermeno, Leah Zermeno, Gabriella Toro, Sophia Zermeno, Noah Carrizales, Brilynn Vasquez, and Brielle Vasquez.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Ruben A. Partida. Anita retired from H.I.S.D. food service after 33 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, planting flowers, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Though she is no longer with us, her memory will for always remain in our hearts.

A visitation for Anita will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6:30 PM, A funeral mass will occur Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
