Anita Martinez Sanchez, was lovingly received by our Lord Jesus Christ on April 16, 2011. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 64 years, Arando M. Sanchez; 2 daughters, Alice Gonzales and husband St. John, Linda Hernandez and husband Robert, 2 sons, Armand Sanchez, Jr. and wife Cecilia and Martin Sanchez; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Having to quit school at 14 years old to help support her family of 12 was an honor--not an obligation. She instilled a strong Christian faith in her family and friends. It was her joy in life to be a faithful member of 2nd Baptist Church of Jacinto City.
Visitation will be held from 5:00- 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Main Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 in the Main Chapel. Pastor Johnnie Musquiz will be officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
