

Annabelle was born in Wausaukee, Wisconsin on August 6, 1922. Ann (nicknamed Andy by her siblings) paid her own way through and graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, MI.
Ann married Ernest M. Ekeroth in Miami, FL in March 1952 before they promptly moved to California. They were married for 52 years before his death in August 2004.
Ann, Ernie and their 4 children moved several times in California, then moved to Laredo, TX, before retiring in Houston, TX. Ann had a long career in Medical Technology for Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco, CA and Mercy Hospital in Laredo, TX. She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Golden Slippers Entertainers along with her husband, and was a long time Girl Scout Leader. Ann's favorite hobbies were traveling the USA, Canada and Mexico, lots of reading, professional level sewing, and baking the most coveted Christmas cookies.
Annabelle is survived by her 4 children: Jeffrey Ekeroth (wife Shelley) of Houston, Jeanne Borah of Houston, Douglas Ekeroth (wife Veronica) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Brian Ekeroth of Spring; 3 grandchildren: Lauren Borah Gauthier (Andy) of Boston, MA, Danielle Ekeroth of Boston, MA, and Benjamin Ekeroth of Cupertino, CA; and two great-grandchildren Quinn and Beck Gauthier, and many nieces and nephews.
Annabelle was predeceased by her husband Ernest; parents Irving R. and Anne Jermac Shallman; siblings Bob Shallman (Mary), Bill Shallman (Nancy), and Elaine Grace (Raymond); and son-in-law, Jamie K. Borah.
Funeral services for Annabelle will be held at Christ The Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18511 Klein Church Road in Spring, TX on Friday, December 9th at 2 pm in the small chapel.
