

Anthony Joseph Piercy, age 73, passed away on August 12, 2014. He was a native Houstonian and a faithful, life-long member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Anthony was employed at St. Ambrose for more than 25 years prior to working at Kroger’s for the past 15+ years. He enjoyed playing bingo every week and the fellowship through the Men’s Club at St. Ambrose.
Welcoming Anthony into Eternal Life are his parents, Will Roger and Josephine Marie Piercy, sister-in-law, Taylor Ann Patricia Piercy, and brother-in-law, Fred Sustala. He is survived by his brother, Louis F Piercy, Sr, and sisters, Jean (Terry) Lehman and Lena Mae Sustala as well as his nieces, Judy (Phil) Nelson, Jo Piercy, Brenda (David) Perkins, Sheila (David) Konarik, Donna (Chris) Vitek, Sandy (Marcus) Coffman, Debbie (Mark) Scheuerman; his nephews, Louie (Karen) Piercy, Jr, Lawrence (Christie) Piercy, Leonard (Delisa) Piercy, Paul (Deslie) Piercy, Jimmy (Janice) Sustala, John Sustala, Jerry (Beth) Sustala, and all of their respective families who loved their sweet Uncle Anthony. Pall Bearers include Garrett Piercy, Justin Nelson, Stewart Piercy, Kenrick Piercy, Devin Konarik, Drew Konarik, and Chris Vitek.
The family will be receiving visitors at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, 77023 on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 between 5-8:00pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary commencing at 7:00pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston, 77092. Gravesite dedication is immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale.
Anthony will be dearly missed and loved forever by his family and friends.
