Basilio Alvarez Sr.80 of Booth, Texas passed away July 12, 2017. Basilio is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Inez of 50 years; and sister, Cruzita Hernandez. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, children, Basilio Jr Alvarez, Bobby Alvarez, Daniel Alvarez, Raul Alvarez, Christina Alderete, Irma Alvarez, Gloria Alvarez, Alex Alvarez, and Richard Alvarez; 27 Grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
