Bertha Vasquez, 82 went to her Heavenly Father on June 29, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born July 19, 1931 to Manuel and Louisa Flores in Houston. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Larry G. Vasquez; daughter Annette Delgado & husband Antonio; sons Larry & wife Stella and Joseph & wife Corrinne; grandchildren, Antonio, Domenica, Justin, Reynaldo, Luciano, Natalie, Joshua and Bianca; great granddaughter Angelica; siblings, Emily Bores and Fred Flores. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Manuel, Antonia, Ruben, Arthur, Margaret, Mary Lou and Minerva. Bertha was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, Aunt and friend who lived her faith with Jesus and His blessed Mother. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Celebration of the Holy Eucharist will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Houston, TX.
