Betty Jeanne Epps Moore Arrington deceased Monday evening, August 12, 2013. Betty Jeanne Epps, born September 13, 1925 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Ernest Clayton Epps from Dysartville, NC and Melissa Overton Daugherty from Center, Texas. Betty is preceded in death by her parents. Her father Ernest passed on August 15, 1982 and her mother Melissa on August 5, 1990 and her first husband Gene George Moore who passed on February 4, 1998. Betty and Gene were married December 22, 1945. She is survived by her second husband John M. Arrington and her children; Kathleen Janice Moore Cooper from Houston, TX, Gene George Moore II from Houston, TX, Gregory Clayton Moore from Houston, TX, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A viewing and final farewell will be Friday evening at Forest Park Lawndale from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Betty will be buried in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas. A graveside ceremony will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2013 with Reverend Ricky Moore presiding. Betty was a great lady and will be missed by all.
