Betty Jean Elkins

Mrs. Elkins was a member of Fairbanks United Methodist Church, Past-President of the Fairbanks United Methodist Women; a volunteer at the Fairbanks UMC resale shop and annual BBQ UMW Country Store, and lifetime member of the Golden Rule Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Mrs. Elkins was predeceased by her husband, Guy Davis Elkins; mother, Effie May Harris Watson; grandmother, Ona Harris Chapman; sister, Francis Mary Hodges, and her brothers, Theodore Watson and Robert Watson. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Lynn Elkins of Elyria, Ohio; KaTrina Baker and husband Lee, of Houston, Texas and son, Shawn Elkins and his wife Alisa of Quincy, Illinois. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Lee Baker, III of Houston, Texas; Brittany Leigh and Davis Patrick of Quincy, Illinois; Chadwick Davis Elkins and his wife Mary Beth, and Hannah Elkins of Richfield Springs, New York

A memorial service was held at Fairbanks United Methodist Church, 14210 Aston in Houston, on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., where a reception

followed in the Fellowship Hall. Reverend Deanna M. Young officiated.
