

Billie Joyce Livingston, born in Dripping Springs, Texas to Robert Samuel and Margaret Moore Hodges passed away on September 15, 2012. She graduated from Missouri City High School, attended the University of Houston, and lived all her adult life in Houston, Texas. She was a smart, kind, selfless, and independent southern lady who lived with grace and dignity - always looking out for others - a good friend, neighbor, wife, mother, aunt, and sister. She lived and practiced her christian faith in a quiet and humble way. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Billie retired from Texaco Inc. after many years of loyal service, volunteered at Methodist Hospital, and at Riverside Methodist Church where she was a member for many years. She is survived by: son, Robert W. (Bob) Livingston and wife Sandy (Needville); sister, Patsy Nappier; special niece, Teddy Gray and husband Frank (Houston); Wesley Fritsche and wife Amy Fritsche and daughter Amelia; and many other nieces and nephews. she is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, J.L. (Jake) Livingston; and sister Audene Hodges Klawinsky. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Garden Terrace, Vantage Hospice, Ester Kennedy, and Sonya and Albertina Jimenez for their kindness. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 am at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
