Billie Brooks Carr Rizk, beloved mother, grand-mother and great grand-mother peacefully passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 after a long and full-filling life. She was born Billie Brooks Carr in Republic , Missouri on July 2, 1927. Married for over 65 years to the late Dr. Edward G. Rizk. A true southern lady, Billie will be truly missed and long remembered. She is survived by her daughter Shelley Jean Royer and her husband F. Michael Royer, her granddaughter, Cynthia Laine Beatty and her husband Robert Andrew Beatty, her grandson Christopher Brooks Royer and her great grand-daughter Adeleine Brooks Beatty.Mrs. Rizk will be laid to rest in a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her name to Texas Children's Hospital, Office of Development, Suite 5214, P. O. Box 300630 Houston, Texas 77230-0630 or the charity of your choice.
