Bobbie Sanders

Bobbie Lee Edwards Sanders passed from this life into eternal life with Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 29, 2017. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Bobbie was born in West Monroe, Louisiana to Jesse Edgar Edwards and Fannie Lee Walker Edwards on January 21, 1924. Waiting for her in heaven is the love of her life, Jack Sanders, whom she was married to for 68 years at the time of his death in November, 2014, her parents, her sisters, Maurice Bain, Bettie Nell Edwards and brother, J.O. Walker.

She is survived by her daughters Sharon Kuhn and husband, Tom, Marsha Hammons and husband, Don. She was known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren Tammy Farnsworth, Trey Harling and wife, Suzanne, Chris Hammons and wife Krista and Kim Longoria and husband Greg and her great-grandchildren, Collin Farnsworth, Devin Garza, Sophia, Isabella and Lauryn Longoria and Charles Hammons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas for many years as well as Riverview Baptist Church in Houston.

Honorary pallbearers, Tom Kuhn, Don Hammons, Trey Harling, Greg Longoria, Collin Farnsworth and Devin Garza.
