I worked with him occasionally at the Chronicle. I had no complaints. Sorry for your loss.

Sending lots of love today. There was never a dull moment with Brian around and the sound of laughter followed wherever he was. We have many great memories with him as a family and will always be grateful for that.

Brian had a great knack of making everyone around him smile.  His crazy sense of humor made him so much fun to be around.  Our prayers and sympathy for the Martin family.

Brian was more than a friend, he was family!  He has always been around ever since I was a little kid and it will be difficult to imagine life without him. He is loved so much and will be greatly missed. My prayers to his family.

The guest book is closed so my story goes here! Brian aka "Big Daddy" is one of my dearest friends! He constantly had me laughing and always told me he would take care of me. It wasn't just words, i knew he meant it! He was willing to be my "plus 1" for any event and boy was it a good time!! Always the gentleman but yet such a fun friend!! He was my handy man, seamstress, chef, and most importantly the truest of friends. My heart breaks for our loss and I pray for comfort for his family. He was a part of my family at work and outside of work. He was also the best clinician you could have to care for any pedi patient! He will forever be in my heart!! I love you B!! Until i see you again!

So sorry we will miss the service tomorrow. I will always remember Ms Holly Day and volunteering at planet kids together. He kept us laughing. I'm so glad our families got to know each other. I miss you guys greatly and we are praying for God's peace to be with you all. Sending our love. Rick, Tammy, Chelsea and Jacob Cullen. RIP my friend.

Brian, you were such a joy to work with. Your smiles and laughs will be remembered and missed.

If it weren't for Brian, I would not have married my husband 15 years ago. So, true story..He was working nights and Michelle and I have been friends since high school. They were invited to their neighbors party and I went in his place. That is when I met his neighbor's twin brother.  Fast forward...I planned a  dinner date at my house for Friday night. I was making Italian. The Wednesday before our date I was informed that Ronnie is a 'meat & potato' guy. (Now, meat & potatoes on a Friday night is McDonalds). There was no way I was going to be able to pull this off....so I called Brian. I told him what I needed and he told me not to worry about a thing, and I didnt worry.  When I got home from work there were only 30 minutes to spare before Ronnie would be over. One by one Brian raised the lids from 4 pots on the stove. He said, "here are the potatoes,  green beans,  gravy and tea. The roast is ready to come out of the oven and the pie is over there. Now all you have to do is vacuum my big footprints out of the carpet." Brian had out done himself. It was amazing!  As Ronnie and I were sitting there eating he kept saying how good the dinner was. How I was a great cook and on and on. So I fessed up. I said "ok, in the event this thing between you and I goes anywhere,  I cannot start it with a lie. Brian made dinner!!  (I remember how Brian laughed when he found out I blew his cover after I made him promise secrecy).  
Well, 15 years and 2 boys later,  here we are. We are heart broken to lose such an amazing man. His heart was bigger than any person's I know. He would do anything for anyone, friend or stranger. God sure picked a special one. We will love you always Brian and we will never forget. XO

Our thoughts and prayers for the Martin family.  Brian lived across from us and we would always say hi and talk about our day. Gonna miss seeing our neighbor on his porch.

Brian you will be missed. Abby and I are praying for Parker, Taylor, & Michelle. I know this is a very hard time for you all! LOVE YOU ALL so much!!!

Such a tragedy... So sorry for the loss, he was an amazing guy to work with, would always keep ya  laughing & smiling! & what  an awesome gift he had working with the children in the pediatric ER.. And a true pal to drink a beer with! :-)  may you rest in peace & comfort knowing that you were loved by so many people..& your spirit will always be amoung us. RIP My friend..

I was so blessed to have you as my friend, I will miss you so much, you will always have a special place in my heart.

Brian will always have a special place in my heart.  My funniest memory was when he had his son Parker saran wrap me to the recliner while I was sleeping.  I woke up an couldn't move. I have many more memories like this.  Love this family.  I pray for strength and peace.

My prayers and thoughts to Brian's sons. He always spoke highly of you two. I hope the boys and family find comfort amongst each other in this time of need. Brian will be missed, but never forgotten.

There are those in this world who shine so bright that even when they are gone, their light will always remain. Thats Brian. He always had a smile on his face. He treated everyone like he had known you forever. Thank you, B, for including me and my family in your circle of friends.

I have many memories of Brian as a teen.  I loved the man he became.  He brought smiles to everyone's face. I'm still using the marble rolling pin he gave me for Christmas.  I think of him every time I use it.  RIP Brian.

Brian was one of the funniest people I know. He always knew how to make you smile, even when you were having a bad day. One of my favorite memories happened a few months ago. We were all in his apartment talking and he starts to tell his "collar bone" story to one of our friends (Most of you should know what story that is). When she reached up to touch his collar bone as part of the story, he barked at her, she flew backwards and screamed, looking like she got swallowed by the couch. We all laughed until we couldn't see straight. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Brian will always be remembered by memories like that (and there are several others just as funny). I'm sure he is up in heaven sharing his humor with God now.

I remember many good times at the Martin house growing up.  I wish the whole family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

God be with you now Brian. We will forever miss your smile and large heart. I always enjoyed working with you. Go spend se time with your nephew now..... Enjoy the peace of Gods love.

To Brian's family, especially his sons:  I hope you know what a treasure you had in your father. I worked with him during his last years and truly enjoyed being at work when Brian was there. He could do most anything and had a lot of knowledge about a lot of things. But most of all I loved his joy of  taking care of children.  He always made them laugh by telling them crazy things and they would be able to tolerate Blood draws or stitches as long as he was there. Whenever in the future you are not sure how to handle a problem, ask yourself what your father would have told you to do and you will probably be just fine! My sincerest condolences to you.

A good friend and co-worker, Brian always made coming to work worthwhile.  You will be missed my friend.

Brian was like a brother to me and an uncle to my kids when they were young. He had the biggest heart of anyone I ever knew. No matter the time that had passed since I last seen him, anytime we talked he could still make me smile anytime! RIP my friend!!
