(Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Aunt (Tia), Friend, Cousin, Niece)
Brigida Tobias Moreno, 58, passed away tragically and suddenly at Cornerstone Rehab Facility in Conroe, Texas the morning of November 6, 2021 at 11:11 AM. She was born to Pedro Tobias and Gloria Mireles on July 24, 1963 in Houston, Texas. She attended and graduated Bellaire High School in 1981. Brigida is remembered for her cooking which could feed “an army”, she was a wiz in the kitchen and could tell a story like no other. With Brigida in the room, there was never a dull moment. Her signature cackle could be heard on the other side of the room. She will also be remembered for her laughter and her big maternal heart.
Brigida loved to open her heart, arms and home to anyone. She loved to dance and listen to all types of music but country was her favorite. I can still see her hand tapping away to the beat of the music. This is what made her happy on top of being a mother of 4. Brigida was the wife of Louis Moreno for 26 years and widow of Arthur Moreno for 8 years.
Brigida leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband, Louis Moreno; 4 sons, David Moreno, Michael Moreno, Louis Correa, Samuel Correa; 1 daughter, Bianca Moreno; her dog, Wolfie Moreno; her father, Pedro Tobias; her mother, Gloria Mireles; mother-In-Law, Josephine Moreno; her uncle, Raymond Barroso; her brothers, Christopher Tobias, Pete Tobias, Joe Moreno III; her sisters, Carla Chapa, Julie Ann Harrison, Jennifer Garcia, Pamela Moreno, Laura Ganhs Moreno and many many nieces, nephews, 2 godchildren, along with honorary children, who most called her by “Aunt B” or “Momma B”.
She is predeceased by Arthur Moreno (widowed husband), Baby Moreno (dog), Rosa Barroso (grandmother), Jose Moreno Jr (father-in-law), Rebecca Aguilar (godmother), Dolores Aguilar (cousin), Armando Brett (Uncle), Willie J. (godfather) and many loving relatives.
“May you never take one single breath for granted. God forbid love ever leave you empty handed… Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance… I hope you dance.” - Lee Ann Womack
Sorry it only took a lifetime but you get to finally meet, know what I mean jelly bean?
