Carrie Robertson Allen

Carrie May Robertson Allen passed away on December 8, 2025, from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Carrie was born in Houston, Texas on December 14, 1940. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Edward Robertson and mother, Ruth Hasskarl Robertson, sister, Esther Sue Robertson Snoddy and brother Robert Edward Robertson Jr. She is also preceded in death by her beloved son, Cal Allen. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Allen Sealy and husband Bill Sealy of Austin and Ruth Allen and William Antrican of Houston. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kendall Sealy, William Sealy, John Sealy and Taylor Allen. Carrie is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Carrie was a lifelong Houstonian. She graduated from Lamar High School and The University of Texas at Austin. She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Carrie taught elementary school in the Spring Branch Independent School District for 40+ years at Bunker Hill, Spring Branch and Hunters Creek Elementary Schools. During this time, she had the privilege of teaching generations of students.

Carrie was the BEST mom and cherished her role as “Mimi” to her four grandchildren! The family especially wants to thank the exceptional staff at Silverado Barton Springs Memory Care Community for their loving care of Mom in her last year.

A memorial service will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road on Tuesday, December 16 at 2:00pm in the Chapel. A reception will follow the service. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be offered at the following link. https://www.youtube.com/live/27zasfLmj18.
