Catherine Leonie Mussett

Leonie, was born to Leo John Ringuet and Catherine Nellie Redding Ringuet, October 29, 1946, in Houston, TX. She graduated from South Houston High School in 1965. She married Joe Mussett in February, 1979 and they lived together in Spring, TX. Together they raised 5 children.

She is survived by: Daughter, Donna Morris, grand children, Danielle, Jimmy and Kristina, Son, Don Morris Jr. (Elizabeth), grandchildren Sam and Molly. Step sons Craig Mussett and Mike Mussett and Step Daughter Lorrie Deann Mussett, grandchildren Stephanie, Stephen, Brittany, Shelby, Cody, Justin and great grandson Rhett. She also leaves to cherish her memory niece Brenda Temple (Randy) and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mussett, Sister and Brother in law Sydonia and Herbert Coker and nephew Mike Coker.

Her sister Donie, worked for Perriera Plumbing, which is where Joe worked. Donie decided that she needed to introduce Joe to her sister. Donie was very proud of the fact that they hit it off and as they the rest is history . Leonie worked as an administrative assistant for several companies with the last being the State of Texas in Health and Human Resource from which she retired. She enjoyed the outdoors whether working in the garden, fishing or just enjoying the sun.

A visitation is scheduled for March 31 at 11:00 with the funeral service will at 12:00 and the Committal service following. Mike Carlen will officiate the ceremony.
