Obituary
Cecilia Ramírez-Hurtado was called to Heaven on October 15, 2024 surrounded by angels and her loving family. Cecilia had a total of 8 kids, survived by five children, 21 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren who mourn her passing.
She leaves a legacy of love, family, happiness, and laughter. No matter how old, Cecilia brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on family trips, always finding a way to spend time with us. She had a truly kindhearted soul as she took care of her father from a young age after her mother died. Just as she took care of her father, she took care of all of us too, always showing her family love and sharing her sense of humor with us. She loved to play pranks especially with her sons in law. Her hysterics brought joy and laughter to the family. Cecilia loved to cook and knit, and she shared her talents with her family. But even with all her talents, the most important aspect of her life was her faith. She received her strength from Christ and never failed to show it. She would always pray her rosary and sleep with her crucifix right by her side, with a beautiful devotion to the sacred heart of Jesus.
While her absence leaves an unfillable void for all who loved her so much, we are comforted in knowing she is with our father and we will be reunited one day through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sacred heart of Jesus, we trust in you!
Forever in our hearts, Ospina Martinez Family
