Charles Anthony “Tony” Bryant, born June 24, 1954 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away December 2, 2012 in Houston, Texas, following a heart attack. He was 58 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sherman Bryant, and is survived by his mother, Edith Spharler Bryant of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his beloved wife of 27 years, Judy McNeil Bryant of Houston, Texas; son, Joshua McNeil Bryant, an honor student at the University of Texas in Austin; sisters, Cindy Bryant Bradley of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Nancy Bryant Huff of El Paso, Texas; brother, Sherman Michael Bryant of Esslingen, Germany, and by 6 nephews, 3 nieces, other family, and friends.
Tony was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School, and attended Ouachita Baptist University for 2 years. He lived in Houston for over 30 years. All his family and friends will miss his wonderful stories.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Good Faith Methodist Cemetery on Apple Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. His family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
