

Charles Ray Coleman was born on June 24, 1951 to the proud parents of the late Evanuel Coleman Sr. and late Rosie B. Foster in Houston, Texas. He was the third of nine children. He graduated from B. C. Elmore High School in 1971 and attended Texas Southern University for a year. Charles was united in marriage to Bobbie Lois Allen on August 27, 1977. During their union, three girls were born, Miracle (deceased 1979), Megan and Morgan. After 35 years of hard work at Shell Oil Chemical Plant as an Outside Plant Operator, he retired in 2008. Following his retirement he worked for U. S. Security until 2012. Charles started his Mormon journey in September 2002. He attended Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sugar Land, Texas where he served as an elder. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Bobbie Coleman. His daughters, Megan Coleman and Morgan Coleman. Four grandchildren, Jonathan, Jordan, A'jah and Jailen. Two brothers, Calvin Coleman Sr. (Patricia) and Evanuel Coleman Jr. (Jean). Five sisters, Florence Jolly, Shirley Holman (La Salle Sr.), Linda Broady, Brenda Faye Barnes (Carl Barnes Sr.), Cynthia Coleman (Wiley), and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
