Charlotte Whitworth

Charlotte Eleanor Whitworth, 97, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014. She was born February 10, 1917, in Kellogg, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benton F. Whitworth. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Hazel Whitworth, several special friends; Cheryl Brock, Betty Daniel, Joseph Senn, Lydia Ochoa and many other friends and several very special friends. Mrs. Whitworth retired from Texas Commerce Bank of Houston after 34 years. She graduated from the American Institute of Banking. She was active with the Board of Governors and Chairman of various committees during her banking career. She was Past President of Houston Heights Women’s Club, and a 50 year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #63, Past Presidents Club, Retired Eagles Activity Club, District II and Editor of Aerie #63 news Letter and Chairman of many other committees. Mrs. Whitworth visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2014, 10am at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 11am at Heights Funeral Home. Mrs. Whitworth will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery along with her husband. Her loving friends would like to extend a special thanks to The Forum at Memorial Wood Assistant Living and Skilled Nursing Staff and Compassus Hospice.
