

Clayton Eugene Sowell was born on September 12, 1978 in Houston, Texas to Mr. George Clayton Sowell and Ms. Cheryl Clark. He attended churches in the Houston area and lived in Missouri City, Texas, where he was well known by many of his life-long friends. Clayton chose to live a single life. He had no children. Clayton graduated in 1997 from Willowridge Senior High School in Missouri City, Texas. He attended Southwest Texas State University for one year, then decided to enter the workforce. He worked at Baylor College of Medicine for over eight years. His latest position at Baylor was in their Research Department as a Buyer. He enjoyed listening to music. He also loved soccer and his beloved football team, the Green Bay Packers. Clayton loved his many family and friends. But most of all, he loved interacting with many type of people and spending time with his family. Of special note are Clayton's life-long friends, Brian Phipps and his wife, Stephanie. Clayton considered Brian as a brother, someone he could always count on. The health over the last several years deteriorated as he struggled to deal with MS. He was called home to rest on September 24, 2014, and a wonderful life came to an end. Clayton is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Clark, and brother, Keithan Clark. He leaves to cherish his memory: Loving parents, George Clayton and Christine Sowell, of Missouri City, Texas; one brother, Travis McDonald of Houston, Texas, and five sisters, Sabrina Sowell Smith (Kedrick); Shawndra Sowell, Trishina Clark Morant (Michael), Danielle Sowell, and Tanecia Clark; one sister-in-law, Chaundra Clark; a very special cousin, Nikita Williams, loving aunts, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives, and countless friends.
