The Burkhart / Bell family mourns the passing of Coco Burkhart. Coco was born June 13, 1956, passed on May 6, 2025. Being the only girl child with three brothers, Coco was a daddy’s girl from day one. She dearly loved those brothers, and they surely had a hand in making their tiny sister into the spitfire she became! She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, and her son, Nelson, was her world. She worked as a police officer and dispatcher before going to work with her husband wherever the job led them. She loved the ocean and spent as much time there as possible during her lifetime.
Coco was preceded in death by her father, John E. Burkhart III, her brothers, Charles, Austin, and John Burkhart, and her grandson, John A. Bell, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Bell, her children, Nelson R. Anderle, Jr., Michael K. Bell, Valerie L. Griffin, and John A. Bell, her grandchildren Kaitlyn R. Anderle, Addalyn E. Anderle, Chasity Risinger, Shelby Sheppard, Kort Griffin, Harley Bell, and Brooke Bell, and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private memorial in care of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston Texas 77023
