Consuelo Aguilar Alanis

Consuelo Aguilar Alanis was born to Pedro & Genoveva Aguilar on August 29, 1933, in New Gulf, Texas.

She graduated from Boling High School in 1952 and was Valedictorian of her class. Soon after graduating High School the family moved to Houston where she enrolled in Secretarial School and was a Nanny to a prominent Houston Family. She married Gilberto Alanis in 1955 and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised 4 children.

She is survived by her daughter, Adriana Stovall (Timothy), her sons, Gilberto Alanis III, Marco Alanis and Gerardo Alanis (Cynthia) She also leaves to cherish her memory 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, Andres, Arturo, Armando and Julio and numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her infant daughter (Genoveva Graciela) and many brothers, sisters and family members.

Consuelo worked as a Secretarial Radiology Supervisor for Ben Taub Hospital for almost 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, planting and shopping.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Visitation will be held on July 2, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas. A Rosary Service will be held on July 2, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass Service will be held on July 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Angels, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas. A reception will follow at the residence of Timothy & Adriana Stovall @10016 Autumn Lake Trl, Pearland, Texas 77584. The Family request that donations be made to Breast Cancer Research (gifts.mdanderson.org) or The Alzheimer Assoc. (act.alz.org/donate).
