

Daniel Joseph Bilski, age 70, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Born in Brenham, Texas, he was a man of true faith, who was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church since 1972, serving on the Parish Council, was Bazaar Chairman, held office in the Men's Club, was on the money counting team, delivered The Eucharist to homebound church members, and also worked Bingo. He was on the executive committee of The Knights of Columbus Council 2917, and was a member of KJT Catholic Union of Texas out of LaGrange, Texas for 50 years. He volunteered much of his time to both the Church and the K of C Council. He served our country honorably in the Army, and retired as Turbine Foreman with Houston Lighting and Power Company after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years, Lillian Falk Bilski; parents, Billie and Maggie Bilski; brothers Peter and Andrew Bilski; and sister, Valeria Okonski. Survived by wife, Mary Lynn Bilski; daughters, Kellie Geraci and husband Anthony, Alison Fulbright and husband Chris, Jennifer Stettler and husband J.B.; step sons, Andrew Derkowski and Nicholas Derkowski and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Kollin, Brock, and Gaige Geraci, Cooper and Copeland Fulbright, and Julie and James Stettler; step granddaughter, Olivia Derkowski; brothers, Billie Bilski, Jr. and wife Bettie, Paul Bilski and wife Josie, Otto Bilski and wife Nancy, and Joe Bilski and wife Carolyn; brother-in-law, Larry Okonski; sisters, Anita Swoboda and husband John and Barbara Janda and husband Al; sister-in-law, Theresa Bilski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd., Houston, Texas 77092. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Larry Okonski, Patrick Bilski, Anthony Ruffino, Daryl Okonski, Nicholas Derkowski, Andrew Derkowski, and Adam Falk.
