Daniel Perez

DANIEL PEREZ, 52, passed away on October 19, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Daniel was born July 8, 1940 in Eagle Pass, Texas and was the only son of Alfredo Pérez and Carmen Pérez (née Hernandez). He was always protective and playful with his two younger sisters, Sylvia and Terri. He was a loving father to his daughter, Daniell “Mickey” Pérez, who was his world. His grandsons, Elijah and Xavier, were also well-loved by their “Coco.”

Daniel’s passion for his chosen career in the medical field was demonstrated through his commitment to serving fellow Houstonians and patients. Daniel’s career reflected his character for helping whenever and wherever he could. His gentle, nurtuuring nature was balanced with his playful and exuberant personality.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen, and his granddaughter, Kaida. He is survived by his father, Alfredo; his daughter Mickey and her mother Aída Rosas; his grandsons Elijah, Xavier, and Isaac (expected December 2015); his sister Sylvia San Pedro, her husband Ramón and their children Alyssa and Enrique; his sister Terri Pérez and her daughter Micah; his aunts and uncles; his numerous cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of His Life on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. Interment at Earthman Resthaven Cemetary.
