Jody & Davids lovely family. I really, really share your loss with a heavy heart & sadness. His penchant for word associations & light heartedness based on his exquisite poetic associations brought laughter & wisdom to my life. I will cherish forever his memory, which is part of me now, so I guess I'll carry those memories in my little noggin.
I hope Jody is in good hands. Bereft of David Parrish, there is one less very very accomplished cartographer & comedian.

Oh Dave....You will be dearly missed....my friend and colleague of 18 years. It's so hard to believe that you are no longer with us. You always could make me laugh and smile. I was still looking forward to that lunch we always talked about....you, me, Hank, and my dad. I really wanted my dad to meet you. I know the two of you would have had a great visit. I also know that Jody is missing you a whole bunch. You were her rock and she was your love. My deepest sympathies go out to Jody, your sweet wife of so many years, and Chris, your step-daughter, and to Seth, your grandson....the apple of your eye. Hank is going to miss you a lot too. The two of you have been buds for at least 40 years. My goodness, Dave! Life really does throw us some curves. But most of all, I feel privileged and honored to have known you and to call you my friend.
