With heavy hearts and deep love, our family announces the passing of Delores Rodriguez, who entered eternal rest on December 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 4, 1955, Delores lived a life defined by devotion—to her family, her work, her faith, and the traditions that brought everyone together.
Delores is survived by her loving father, Joel Cirilo, and her cherished siblings: Joe Rodriguez and his wife Joann Rodriguez, Tresa Rodriguez and her husband Albert Rodriguez, and Angie Davis and her husband Tom Davis and sister in law Veronica Cirilo. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Cirilo; her brother, Joel Cirilo II; her sister, Christina Marody; brother in law John Marody and her grandmother, “Grandma Birdie” Marie Briones—all of whom she loved dearly and now joins in peace.
Family was the center of Delores’s world. She loved spending time with those closest to her, sharing laughter, stories, and moments that became treasured memories. She enjoyed shopping, celebrating every holiday with joy and enthusiasm, and always made sure the people around her felt loved and included.
Christmas was especially meaningful to Delores. For her, it wasn’t just a holiday—it was a season overflowing with tradition, warmth, and togetherness. Once our grandmother Josie passed away, Delores lovingly took the reins in continuing the family tradition of gathering everyone to celebrate, ensuring the spirit of the holiday lived on. She treasured hearing the little ones sing Christmas songs, gathering as a family, and indulging in an abundance of Christmas sweets. These traditions, held closely through the years, were moments she helped shape and preserve, and they will forever remind us of her generous and joyful spirit.
Professionally, Delores dedicated many years to the insurance industry, where she held numerous roles. She took great pride in her work, always striving to help others and give her best in everything she did.
Above all, Delores spent her life caring for her parents and supporting her entire family, ensuring everyone was looked after and had what they needed. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her generosity immeasurable. Her heart was truly one of service—and she gave without hesitation.
Most recently, Delores found new joy in her beloved yorkiepoo, Sadie, who quickly became her most cherished companion. Sadie brought light, comfort, and companionship to Delores’s days, and the two were inseparable.
Delores’s kindness, compassion, and unwavering love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her warm smile, and her endless devotion to the people she loved. Though our hearts ache in her absence, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain with us always.
Her legacy is one of love, care, and family—gifts she gave freely and without measure.
She will be deeply, forever missed.
