

Delores Scarcella April 9, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Scarcella on April 9, 2025. A beloved family member and friend, Delores touched the lives of those around her with warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. Delores retired from Harris County, where she served with dedication and professionalism throughout her career. In retirement, she embraced her many passions — knitting, crocheting, reading, baking, and her deep love for animals — all of which brought her great joy and comfort. She is lovingly remembered by her niece and nephew-in-law, Demeree and James Jameson of New Caney, Texas; her nephews, Jason J. Frazier and Aaron A. Frazier of Houston, Texas; her niece-in-law, Yuri Q. Frazier of Houston, Texas; and her sister-in-law, Charlene G. Frazier, also of Houston, Texas. Her memory will live on in their hearts and in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family finds comfort in knowing that while Delores has departed from this world, her spirit, love, and the memories shared with her will remain forever cherished.
A funeral service for Delores will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055.
