Dolores G. “Lolys” Garza, age 86, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Born in San Antonio, Texas, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put her family first. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Elena Perez; and brother, Claudio Guajardo. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Valente Garza; daughter, Martha Degracia and husband Eduardo; sons, Carlos Garza and wife Nicky, and Jorge Garza and wife Pam; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Julia Garcia and Gregoria Guajardo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
