

Donald Glen Courtney, born on October 8, 1924, in Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 101. A wise, hard-working, honest, and humorous man, Donald was a respected resident of Houston, Texas.
Donald was a graduate of Regan High School, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He owned and operated Allstate Printing Co., where he demonstrated his dedication and commitment throughout his career.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Madeline, and his siblings, Frank Weeden, Dr. Kenneth Weeden, and Marilyn Weeden. He is survived by his son, Donald R. Courtney; his daughter, Delane Towery, and her husband, Chris; and his son, Darin Courtney, and his wife, Shirley. Donald was also a proud grandfather to Chris Bounds and his wife, Christy, Dustin Courtney, and Daniel Rozell and his wife, Lisa. His legacy extends to his great-grandchildren, Colin Bounds, Addison Rozell, Dylan Smart, and Brennon Smart. Also surviving is Donald's dear companion of 12 years, Sharon Gaston.
Donald was a Mason and enjoyed spending time deer hunting, flying single-engine airplanes, and relishing the family lake property surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was also a fan of old Western movies, which brought him great joy.
The memory of Donald Glen Courtney will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation with the family be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
