Donald proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the USS Caperton in the Pacific Theater. He retired from Hughes Tools after 45 plus years of service.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Louise Ward; and brothers, Max Ward, and Barry Ward. He is survived by his nieces & nephews, Mike Bennett, Norma Swain, Janette Hudspeth, Jay Walters, Judy Harris, Leota Altimore, Frances Zimmerman, and Sue Algrim.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 3-6 Pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the following morning at 10 Am in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery.
