

Dorothy Maxine Bardwell, 87, of Magnolia, TX peacefully left us on December 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Houston, TX to the late Comer and Lottie Burns. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jerry Bardwell. She is survived by her children Tommy Wall (Patricia), Terri Brown, Ronnie Wall (Cathy), Karen Doss, Denise Baker (Jason) and Rodney Bardwell (Lisa) and Stepson Jim Bardwell. Grandchildren Heath Wall, Stephen Meine (Bethany), Chrissy Buchanan (Adam), Michael Brown (Angie), Kayla Greene (Micah), Cody Wall, Bryson Wall, Randi Garratt (Matthew), Conner Lewis, MacKenzie Lewis, Steele Bardwell, Hudson Bardwell, and step grandson Josh Bardwell (Jennifer). Great grandchildren Kynlie Meine, Jaden Brown, Ashlyn Brown, Tae Greene, Kye Greene, Zoe Wall (greatgrandchild to be), Major Garratt. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dorothy took great pride in the family business, Spring Glass and Mirror, that she and Jerry started in 1981. When Dorothy wasn’t working you could find her at the mall shopping, at the slot machines, or listening to Elvis. Although Dorothy collected cookbooks her favorite thing was going out to eat.
Dorothy’s greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was blessed to host her cherished Christmas tradition one last time at home, witnessing the magic of Christmas through the eyes of her family.
A celebration of her life will be held on January 5, 2023, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. The viewing will be held at 10 am with the service proceeding at 11 am.
The family would like to thank mom’s caregivers from Graceful Care as well as Devotion Hospice.
