Picked up the phone to call you today.  I love you momma and miss you more and more every day.

I apologize that I could not be there to comfort my cousins due to Gene's surgery but my heart is really sadden with Aunt Dorothy's passing. Funny how I can see her and MaCole dancing/singing "put your little foot, put your little foot right here". Aunt Dorothy was a special lady who could make could make you smile anytime. Her laughter was catching. I will miss her deeply. Love ya'll

Many, many times Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Paul would take me to spend the night with them and many times take me home before morning, but I always wanted to go.  She was such a sweet, fun-loving person...so animated.  She could make the best faces.  I will always remember her great sense of humor, her wonderful laugh, and her waterskiing ability.  Thank you for all the fond memories and love you gave me, my beautiful Aunt Dorothy.

I'm reminded tonight of the saying, "You never know how much you'll miss someone until they're gone."  Dorothy was a beautiful woman and such a dear friend.  She was there for me during some difficult times.  I feel blessed to have had her for a friend and neighbor.  I'm glad for the memories of such laughter I'd lose my breath sometimes.  Her loss leaves such a hole in my life.  God's speed my sweet dear friend.

Memaw, you were such a strong and amazing woman. You left such a legacy and am honored to be your grand daughter. I am also blessed to of been able to hold your hand as you left this world to the next. I love you and look forward to our joyful reunion.

So sorry, Dorothy was such a sweet lady she was a sister to my mom and I remember every year they would send birthday cards to each other. I thought that was so sweet they were more then just cousins.They are both gone now at rest and no more pain. My God bless you and keep you Dorothy love cousin Donnie
