Eduardo Lopez Martinez

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eduardo Lopez Martinez, who departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2025. Eduardo was born to Lucia E. Lopez de Martinez and Nicolas Martinez Gordoa on October 13, 1946, where he grew up surrounded by his eight siblings.

He graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1965, and his journey from those early years led him to become a successful hair stylist and respected business entrepreneur, known for his dedication to his craft and the community he served.

Throughout his life, Eduardo demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his work and his faith. Prior to his illness, he was an active and devoted parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church, where he was a beloved member of the congregation. His warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many who had the honor of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by Lucia E. Lopez de Martinez, Mother; Nicolas Martinez Gordoa, Father; Alberto Nicholas Martinez, Brother; and a Sister, Rose Martinez de Pullin.

He was survived by his son David Alvarito Martinez; and, Sabino Vasquez, his life-long partner.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home And Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St., Saturday 22, 2025. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 A.M. Chapel Services at 12:00 P.M. Father Henry B. Walker, O.M.I., followed by interment at 2:00 P.M.
