He was enjoying retirement after serving 23 years in the United States Air Force.
Edwin is survived by his children, Michael E. Ellis and wife Jennifer, James A. Ellis, Resa A. Motsch and husband Arlon, Thomas M. Ellis and wife Patricia; his grandsons, Brandon J. Ellis, Aaron C. Motsch, and Trace J. Motsch. Also surviving is his brother, A J Ellis and sister, Wanda Copeland.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., June 19, 2010 in Erick Cemetery, Erick Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Erick school library.
