Beloved mother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend, passed peacefully into the next world the morning of April 25, 2015. Born in Bemidji, Minnesota on July 17, 1926, to Edward Peter Jackson and Genevieve Walsh, Eleanor attended Saint Catherine University in Saint Paul. She married Joseph Rashid Jubran on October 17, 1953 and spent ten adventurous years traveling the world with him before giving birth to daughter Samia on August 31, 1963. Daughter Deena was born on October 8, 1968, and the family spent six treasured years in Algiers, Algeria, before settling long-term in Houston, TX. Known for her vibrant spirit, beautiful smile, kind and generous nature, and mischievous sense of humor and fun, Eleanor was loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by brother Ed Jackson, sister Mary Ehrensvard, and husband Joseph Jubran. She is survived by daughter Samia Jubran, daughter Deena Nuttall (Rob), brother William Jackson, cousin David Armor, a host of nephews and nieces who loved their fun aunt, and her beloved cat Chester.
