Eleanor Concordia Olson, 82, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. She was born January 4, 1933 in Walbug, TX, to parents Johanna Marie and Walter Henry Jacob. She attended Texas Lutheran College, She had a love for math and science and received training in Houston Becoming a Medical Technologist. She had a passion for cooking, sewing, gardening, and shopping for bargains. She enjoyed being involved in various church ministries, such as Ladies Circle (LWML), Braille Workers, Altar Guild, Choir, and Good Samaritan Auxiliary. She adored her family and grandchildren. Eleanor is survived by her husband, Andrew Herert Olson, Jr.; daughters Gwendolyn Ayres and husband T. Kevin, Ruth Olson, and Paula Godinich and husband Stephen; grandchildren, Lauren Grabau and husband J. Daniel, Kathryn Ayres, Alexander Godinich, Preston Godinich, and Connor Godinich; sister, Dorthea Jacob and Gloria Boriack and husband Curits.
