Elizabeth Jane Fisher

Bitsy was born to Adam and Felicia Polka, June 25, 1938, in Houston, TX. She graduated from Incarnate Word. She married Jack Fisher in 1955, and they lived together in Houston, TX. Together they raised three children.

She is survived by Karen Sturdivant (Van), Karla Chapman, Steve Fisher (Dora). She also leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters Marie Pearsall and Yvonne Bryd. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Fisher, parents Adam and Felicia Polka, Brother James Polka, grandchild Ryan Bradley.

Bitsy worked as a Deli Manager & Shipping Clerk for Kroger & Fishing Tackle Unlimited for up until she retired. She enjoyed Gardening, making pickles, holidays and life in general. She was also actively involved in in the Catholic Church, bowling, water aerobics and enjoying her Grandchildren.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at, Colonial Chapel, Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM Chapel of Angels. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. A reception will follow at Main Building. The family would also like to thank Stagecoach Sr. Living Faculty and Lumicare Hospice for taking such loving care of our Mom/MeeMaw.
