En Honduras, Elizabeth fue conocida por su gran ética de trabajo y su motivación personal. Era una persona hermosa y alegre que dejó huella en todos los que la conocieron. Su mayor pasión era cuidar y sacar adelante a sus dos hijos mayores, siempre esforzándose por brindarles la mejor vida posible. Al emigrar a los Estados Unidos, conoció al amor de su vida, y de esa unión nació su hija menor.

Elizabeth deja en vida a su amado esposo, Efraín Gomez, sus hijos Gladys Orellana, Óscar Gomez y Erlyn Yamilet Gomez, así como a sus 29 queridos nietos.

Elizabeth (Betty) Gomez, of Houston, TX, passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 62. She was born on June 18, 1963, in Pimienta Cortés, Honduras, where she spent her early years.

In Honduras, Elizabeth was known for her strong work ethic and self-motivation. She was a beautiful, joyful spirit who touched the lives of many. Her greatest passion was caring for her two eldest children, always striving to provide them with the best life she could. After moving to the United States, she met the love of her life, and from that love came her youngest daughter.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Efraín Gomez, her children Gladys Orellana, Óscar Gomez, and Erlyn Yamilet Gomez, as well as her 29 cherished grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Marleni Gomez for the care, love, and compassion shown to Elizabeth during her final days.
