Surrounded by love, Elizabeth Ann Wilson, age 73, of Missouri City, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the morning of October 21, 2025. She entered the gates of Heaven with her devoted children by her side, praying over and comforting her. Elizabeth is finally healed, free of pain and at eternal peace after fighting a long battle with pancreatic cancer - a battle she faced with unwavering faith and strength.
Born on April 4, 1952, in Houston, Texas to Harry and Mary Briers, Elizabeth was the second youngest of eight children. Elizabeth grew up in Houston and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1971, where she laid the foundation for a life full of love, faith and cherished relationships.
Elizabeth was married to Frank Wilson for many beautiful years and together they had five dear children, who were the light of her life. She was also seen as a “second mom” to countless others, always welcoming everyone into her home with open arms, a warm smile and plenty of love to go around.
Although a career-driven woman, Elizabeth’s most meaningful and devoted work was as a mother, grandmother and sister. Family always came first for her and she was truly the glue that held everyone together. Even distant relatives felt immediate because of Elizabeth’s nurturing support. Elizabeth was most joyful in a home full of love, laughter, her children and grandchildren. She delighted in having everyone gathered, always making sure others were comfortable and cared for before thinking of herself. Not a soul ever left her home with an empty stomach. She also adored her friends, traveling, being outdoors and the occasional trip to the casino, where her fun-loving spirit always shone through.
Elizabeth began her professional career working for Palais Royal before joining her family at Inducon. Throughout her professional life, she was known for her kindness, work ethic and genuine care for others.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved children: Tiffany Wilson, Chris Wilson, Brandy McMillan (Josh), Cody Wilson (Paloma) and Carrie Jared (Jory). She is remembered lovingly by her nine treasured grandchildren: Emma, Piper, Tripp, Presley, Ellie, Isla, Jase, Patton and Porter. She is also fondly remembered by her life partner Bob’s daughters, Brittany and Nicole (Matt; Madison and Jackson).
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary, her oldest brother, Stanley, her sister, Teresa, her former husband, Frank Wilson, and her beloved partner, Robert “Bob” Rogers.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, followed by Celebration of Life services on Monday, October 27, 2025. Please see the details below.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited Elizabeth, offered support and shared kind words during this tumultuous time. Elizabeth will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing and loving her.
