

Emil Thomas Kainer, age 76, passed away on July 16, 2010, after an 8 month battle with cancer. He was born December 17, 1933, in Houston, TX to parents Albina (Vacek) and Emil Frank Kainer, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by wife of 45 years, Dorothy Kainer and daughters, Kimberly Kainer and Lisa Foreman and husband Keith. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Kainer and wife Ann; sister, Adrienne Hunsucker and husband Paul, sister, Evelyn Endris and husband Louis; uncle, Edwin Vacek and wife Dolores; aunt, Della Humplik; brother-in-law, Gary Lacina and wife Lorie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. He was employed by Fisk Electric from Jan. 1968 to Dec. 1996 and was a member of local IBEW 716. The family will be receiving family and friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Earthman Resthaven. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2010 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., at St. Edward Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner, Spring, TX with rite of committal following at 2:30 p.m., that afternoon at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Schulenburg, TX.
