

He was born to Edward Earl "Babe" McClelland and Mildred Williams McClelland on October 20", 1948. Mack was a member of Beaumont Place Baptist Church and a long time Sheldon resident, attending school at the Alamo School and graduating at C. E. King High School. He married the love of his life Freda Nelson McClelland on September 19', 1975 and together they built their forever home in Beaumont Place addition. Mack had two daughters from a prior marriage, Tina McClelland Showalter and Toni Smoke. Together, Mack and Freda had two wonderful sons, Ennis Earl "Chris" McClelland and John Eric McClelland. He loved spending time with his sons, hunting, fishing, building projects and working on cars. He was a true outdoorsman and family man. Mack helped many people in his community, cutting down trees, working on cars, he was a true spirit of a hard-working man, enjoying welding, burning, machining, automotive repair and construction projects. Mack worked at USA Precision Manufacturing Company until his death.
Mack had two grandsons, Colt and Case McClelland, which he enjoyed spending time with and watching them grow up. They were the light of his life, his legacy. Other grandchildren, Brittney, Blaine, Daniel and Krislyn.
Mack is survived by his wife, Freda Nelson McClelland, sons, Chris McClelland and John Eric McClelland, brother, Johnnie "Pat" McClelland, sister, Cynthia "Cindy" McClelland Langdon, brother in law, Dale Langdon, brother in law, Pat Nelson, sister in law, Frances Nelson, and brother in law, Edward Garza, including a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins who love him very much.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Babe and Mildred McClelland, his sister, Catherine McClelland Hopkins, brother in law, Russell Hopkins, sister in law, Janet Gilstrap McClelland, mother in law, Merle Peck, father in law, John Peck, sister in law, Dollie Walker, brother in law, Bill Walker, brother in law, Lamar Nelson, sister in law, Mary Nelson, sister in law, Margaret Calzada , sister in law, Shirley Garza and many more cherished grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

A visitation for Ennis will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM. A Committal service will occur Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
