Everett M. Garza

Everett M. Garza, age 74, passed away at home Sunday, August 10, 2014. Born in New Gulf, Texas, February 28, 1940, he was devoted family man. He proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army, March 29, 1957. He married his childhood friend, Mary O. Garza, whom he loved most ardently for 56 years. Proprietor of Telge Manor MHP. Preceded in death by his father Elidoro Garza and mother Elpidia M. Kveton. Survived by wife Mary O. Garza; daughters Debra Hernandez, husband, Jesse Duane; Aurora Doreen Garza and son Ted O. Garza; grandchildren, Victoria, Cassandra, Olivia, Lucas, Christopher, Anthony and Jacob; great-grandchildren,Michael, Jesse, Mark, and James; sisters Angela Ortega and Rita Perkins and brother Frank Garza, wife Therese; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5-9pm, Rosary at 7pm at Heights Funeral Home. Everyone will meet for Graveside Services at 10am, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Ave. For those desiring, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
