Felix Martinez, Sr. "El Manzano", 97, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away June 12, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Houston and a retired employee of Port of Houston International Longshoreman Association Local #28. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Mercedes; children, Evangelina Flores and husband Jose Luis, Felix Martinez, Jr. and wife Sabina, Grace Leal and husband Raymond, Richard Martinez and wife Crystal. Also cherishing his memory are his 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
