Frances Audrey Cheatham

Frances was known for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her gentle spirit, thoughtful nature, and steady presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. She had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, and her legacy lives on through the generations she cherished.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Mae and stepfather, Calvin Richardson, husband, Richard Cheatham, and grandson, Justin Cheatham.

She is survived by her sons; James Cheatham (Candy), Richard Cheatham (Karen), Curtis Cheatham and daughter-in-law, Gina, and Michael Cheatham; grandchildren, Rodney Cheatham (Nicole), Wesley Cheatham (Shannon), Shane Cheatham, Sara Gomez (Dante), Stephen Cheatham (Lori), Casie Holub (Bobby), Cody Cheatham, Blaine Cowart (Holly), and Austin Cheatham (River); great-grandchildren, Gaige Martin, Brayden Cheatham, Skylar Cheatham (Cody Blair), Michael Cheatham, Olivia Cheatham, Eli Cheatham, Preslie Ackerman, Jaxon Ackerman, Brooklyn Holub, Sheriff Bufkin, Levi Cheatham, and Hallie Frances Cheatham; great-great grandchild, Pepper Stanley Blair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances loved her family and friends and enjoyed anytime she could spend with them. She loved to go gambling, attending church luncheons, watching Hallmark movies, reading romance novels, and playing 5 crowns with Gina and Curtis most nights.

She will be greatly missed by all that new her.

A visitation will be held at Immanuel Church of Spring, located at 26501 Border St, Spring, TX 77373, on December 23, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The committal service will take place at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on December 23, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
